Mstěnice
|
Approximately 4 km south of Hrotovice lie the archeological excavations of an extinct Medieval village destroyed in 1468 by Hungarian forces marching towards Třebíč. The green-marked hiking trail and bike trail 401 lead from the village to Hrotovice.

| Dalešice |
The community boasts a reconstructed brewery famous for being the location of the film Postřižiny, based on the short story by Bohumil Hrabal. The traditional Dale ice beer is brewed there again today. The complex houses a permanent exhibition dedicated to the history of brewing.

| Rouchovany |
The Vítěslav Nezval nature trail leads from Rouchovany to Tavíkovice via Šemíkovice (where Nezval lived as a youth). There is a Renaissance tower dating from the 16th Century in Rouchovany.

| Dukovany |
The ruins of medieval castles can be found near the village on the right bank of the Jihlava River. Rabštejn Castle is about 3 km to the west (on a green-marked trail) while Templštejn Castle lies about 5 km to the east (on a yellow-marked trail).

| Třebíč |
The town has many architectonic sites. The two most significant are St. Procopius´Basilica in the castle, which is the former Benedictine monastery, and the Jewish Cemetery which is the largest preserved historical site of its kind in the Czech Republic. Both historical sites were added to the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites in 2003. | Náměšť nad Oslavou |
The Renaissance castle atop a rocky spur above the town was originally a Gothic fortified castle dating back to the mid-13th century. The castle houses a monumental library, and rich collections of tapestries from the 16th to 19th centuries. Other significant architectonic sites are the Baroque bridge over the Oslava River dating from 1737 featuring statues of saints, St. John the Baptist Church and the Renaissance building of the former town hall. East of the town lies Kralice nad Oslavou with its ruins of the Gothic fortress where the "Czech Bible", the so-called "Kralice Bible" was printed in the second half of the 16th century. The memorial to the Kralice Bible and St. Martin Church dating from the beginning of the 13th century are situated in the vicinity of the fortress.

| Jaroměřice nad Rokytnou |
The chateau which originated with the double conversion of a former medieval fortress is the dominant landmark of the town. The chateau houses rich collections of paintings, period furniture and musical instruments illustrating the rich musical life of the first half of the 18th century. The Church of St. Margaret dating from the beginning of the 18th century forms an integral part of the castle complex. The French-style garden adjoins the castle and the English-style park which extends across the Rokytna River features a natural theatre used for cultural events up to the present day. The town also boasts the Otokar Březina Museum where the famous Czech lyric poet spent half of his life and was also buried. |

Dalešice dam on the Jihlava River offers a wide variety of opportunities for summer recreation, water sports and fishing. The Stxednm Pojihlavm Nature Park contains the unsubmerged stretch of the Jihlava River from Mohelno to Ivančice. Its larger part consists of deep valleys with numerous rock formations with a height of up to 150 m. The ruins of several medieval castles lie nearby. Near to the village of Mohelno lies the 57 hectare large Mohelno Serpentine Steppe National Nature Reserve. The steppe vegetation is very rich and heterogeneous. A notable phenomenon is the occurrence of dwarfish forms of plants, or so-called dwarfism, in which a plant reaches only about one fifteenth of its normal size.

| Naturpark Rokytna |
The Rokytná Nature Park covers an area of 2 700 hectares and includes the Rokytná River and Rouchovanka River valley in a lenght of approximately 20 km. Of special interest is the Rokytná River valley, namely the section below Pxmstpo where the stream runs through extensive forests. The upper part of the valley has a predominantly submontane character - along the winding river lie meadows and submontane forests; the second part is characterized by rocky formations. Walking through the nature park is a pleasant experience in any season. The visitor can admire picturesque meanders and rocky formations creating very attractive romantic coves. A yellow-marked hiking trail leads through this area. |
